Application Process

01 What is the initial interview like?

The initial interview is a casual conversation with an admissions advisor to discuss your background, career goals, and any questions you have about V School.

02 Do I need to prepare for the aptitude test?

No specific preparation is required for the aptitude test. It is designed to assess your foundational skills and readiness for the program.

03 What happens if I don't pass the Foundations Course?

If you don’t pass the Foundations Course, you will not be eligible to enroll at V School at this time. However, you may be able to reapply in the future after demonstrating additional preparation.

Financial Aid and Payment

01 What financial aid options does V School offer?

We offer various financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, and Income Share Agreements (ISAs). We encourage you to discuss your options with a financial advisor during your admissions process.

02 What is an Income Share Agreement (ISA)?

An ISA is a financing option that allows you to defer tuition payments until you land a qualifying job in your field. You will then share a percentage of your income with V School for a set period.

03 Can I use my G.I. Bill® benefits?

Yes, veterans can leverage their G.I. Bill® benefits to cover tuition for V School’s program, offered online through our partnership with Utah Valley University (UVU) or in-person at our Salt Lake City campus.

Commitment and Schedule

01 How many hours per week is the program?

The program requires a time commitment of 25 hours per week.

02 Can I work while attending V School?

Many students successfully balance work and their studies at V School. However, it is important to be realistic about your time commitment and ensure you can dedicate the necessary hours to the program.

01 What are the program prerequisites?

There are no formal prerequisites for our programs. However, basic computer literacy and a strong desire to learn are essential. We recommend familiarity with high school-level math, including algebra and basic geometry.

02 How long does the program take?

The program can be completed in up to 21 weeks depending on your pace and schedule. You can progress through the curriculum as quickly as you demonstrate mastery of the skills.
